Handi-Care sends nursing assistants to your home for hours each day. These assistants help with activities such as:
- Laundry
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Grooming
- Bathing
- Health Monitoring
- Medicine Reminders
- Walking & Exercising
- Menu Planning
- And other health-related services
Think of all the ways that a personal care aide could help improve the health, safety, and activeness of you or someone you know. Qualified recipients may receive Medicaid assistance. Handi-Care will send a nurse to your home for a free consultation to discuss how personal care aides may be able to help you.
For clients with Medicaid, Handi-Care participates in the Medicaid PCS (Personal Care Services) program, CAP (Community Alternatives Program), and other Medicaid waiver services that may pay for personal care. Personal care may also be paid for by private pay, long-term care insurance, or veteran's benefits. |
